GIVE IT TIME™

*GIVE IT TIME* When someone comes and tells you, "I can't sleep without you, I love you the way you are and I can put up with your good and bad attitude", before you commit your heart to such a person, please, *GIVE IT TIME*. When You just met someone today and feel like marrying him/her tomorrow, before you do, remember you need to *GIVE IT TIME*. When you visit your uncle during a vacation for 2 months, don't be carried away that they serve you your preferred food and give you hot water to bath during your first two days don't start making arrangements to relocate to their house, *GIVE IT TIME*. When a brother visits you and wakes you up by his shouting of prayer from 12 am to 6 am, please don't shut him down, first *GIVE IT TIME*. When someone joins your fellowship in the first year and he is in every group/dept, please don't rush and make him a leader, rather *GIVE IT TIME*. When you enter a new environment and everybody worships you and eat your mes

BE PATIENT

What a pity ... She gave her car key to the youngest child in the car while she went to buy some stuff in the mall. Upon her return, the boy had misplaced the key and the whole family was stranded on the road. Observing her discomfort with innocent kids without a masculine shepherd, I joined the search party. For each passing minute without the key, she landed the boy that had the key with a slap or a concentrated curse! After few minutes, she strayed in frustration into a motorbike's way and was knocked down. It was in the process of helping her up and picking the pieces of her belongings that the car key was found. She had already lost herself before the key was found! Many people lose themselves in search of what is missing in their lives. *Many lose their moral limb while searching for the "missing rib"! *Some lose their health while searching for material wealth. *I know those who lost their message while searching for relevance and sponsors. *Some

WAYS YOU CAN INSPIRE PEOPLE AROUND YOU Written by Marc Chernoff

Live by choice, not by chance.   Make changes, not excuses.  Be motivated, not manipulated.  Work to excel, not compete.  Listen to your own inner voice, not the jumbled opinions of everyone else. This is the way to inspire people!  This is how you can grow into the best version of YOU! Here are a few more ideas to get you started with inspiring everyone around you:     Be authentic and true to yourself. – In this crazy world that’s trying to make you like everyone else, find the courage to keep being your awesome self.  Embrace that individual inside you that has ideas, strengths and beauty like no one else.  Be the person you know yourself to be – the best version of you – on your terms.  Above all, be true to YOU, and if you cannot put your heart in it, take yourself out of it.  No it won’t always be easy; because when it comes to living as a compassionate, non-judgmental human being, the only challenge greater than learning to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes, is learnin

THE LION MODE

Image
In the jungle: 1. The Elephant is the biggest; 2. The Giraffe is the tallest; 3. The Fox is the wisest; 4. The Cheetah is the fastest; Yet, the Lion is the KING of the jungle even without ANY of these qualities. Why? Because: 1.  The Lion is courageous, bold, walks with confidence, dares anything and is never afraid. 2. The Lion believes it is unstoppable. 3. The Lion is a risk taker. 4. The Lion believes any animal is food for him. 5. The Lion believes any opportunity is worth giving a trial and never lets it slip from its hands. So... 1. You don't need to be the fastest. 2. You don't need to be the wisest. 3. You don't need to be the smartest. 4. You don't need to be the most brilliant. 5. All you need is *courage* 6. All you need is the *will to try*. 7. All you need is the *faith* to believe it *is possible*. 8. All you need is to believe in yourself, that *you can* do it because you are connected to Christ and you are one with Him.

HIS VISIT

One man from Ayetoro Ekiti in Ido Osi local govt of Ekiti state in Nigeria, and he does carpentry work. This man every morning passes in front of a church on his way to work. One day he took a decision that he must go into the Church at the chapel to greet JESUS before going to his work. So each day he passes the Church he will go to the chapel and say "JESU mo ya ki o ni o " meaning "JESUS l ‘m here to greet you" he did this for many years and it became part of hm. One day he went to work as usual and fell down from the roof where he was working and had a spinal cord injury, he was taken to many hospitals and there was no remedy to his health and he became paralyzed. One day at the hospital where he was on his sick bed without hope, his wife left him alone in the room to bring something from the house. A man who dressed in white walked into the room and greeted him saying, " awe mi mo ya ki o " meaning my friend l have come to greet you. JESU

JUST WAIT

By Jill Briscoe There is nothing quite as difficult as waiting. When we are in the middle of some particularly difficult situation, time appears to stand still. Our problem is exacerbated by our Western lifestyle and mindset, which often reflect our “instant” society. In America it seems we cannot bear to wait for anything. What is more, we regard instant service and gratification almost as rights. Not long ago I found myself in such a place. As I hunkered down to wait my situation out, I couldn’t help searching Scriptures for glimpses of hope that it would all soon be over. I realized I was on a journey – the journey to “soon.” I couldn’t help but notice how often that little word soon kept popping up in my Bible readings, and I remember complaining petulantly to the Lord, “Not ‘soon’ – ‘now.’” I didn’t like being on the way to “soon” one little bit! On one occasion I remember trying to comfort our two-and-a-half-year-old twin grandchildren, who were howling because the
