THE LAST PAMFLET
Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts. This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, 'OK, dad, I'm ready.' His Pastor dad asked, 'Ready for what?' 'Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out.' Dad responds, 'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring rain.' The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?' Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.' Despondently, the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go? Please?' His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son
EACH GIVES WHAT HE HAS
Back in the days when Germany was divided, a huge wall separated East and West Berlin. One day, some people in East Berlin took a truck load of garbage and dumped it on the West Berlin side. The people of West Berlin could have done the same thing, but they didn't. Instead they took a truck load of canned goods, bread, milk and other provisions, and neatly stacked it on the East Berlin side. On top of this stack they placed the sign: *“EACH GIVES WHAT HE HAS"* How very true! You can only give what you have. My dear friend, what do you have inside of you? Is it hate or love? Violence or peace? Death or life? What have you acquired over the years? Is it capacity to build or capacity to destroy? Is it ability to make money or steal money? Is it ingenuity to develop good things that will benefit mankind or ability to bomb those good things that others have labored to build? *"EACH GIVES WHAT HE HAS"* Think about it! HE STILL ANSWERS PRAYERS
A young man attended a Wednesday Night Bible Study and the Pastor preached about listening to GOD and obeying the Lord's voice. The young man couldn't help but ponder, 'Does GOD still speak to people?' After service, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message. They talked about how GOD had led them in different ways. It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home, and he prayed; ' GOD...If you still speak to people, speak to me. I will listen. I will do my best to obey.' As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk. He shook his head and said out loud, GOD is that you?' He didn't get a reply and started on toward home. But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk came. If everyone has decided to be good then try to be excellent, if many others becomes excellent too then aspire to be outstanding, but if few others decides to be outstanding as well then endeavour to stand out for only one person can stand out among many who are outstanding. VANITY
People are still making the most horrifying sacrifices over vanity and making enemies over worthless material things, WHAT CAN I SAY? look back at that one thing you wanted to kill or die for today and see what it becomes tomorrow. Most people commit suicide over vanity. Death won't relieve the pain, killing yourself won't be a relief to the suffering, when u're dead u are nothing and no longer exist. If u want to relieve from the suffering then u have to choose to live. Any life is worth living, keep ur dreams alive. To achieve anything requires faith and belief in urself, vision, hardwork, determination, little time and patience. You would thank urself without regrets. SMILE
Sometimes in life we are faced with unfavorable situations and we have this feelings of "while am i still living? it is better to die than to continue in this condition". At this point the best solution is to smile and hope on God. Believe that tomorrow will be better than today for sorrow may last for the night but joy comes in the morning. Under every unfavourable condition just place your hands on your chest and say ALL IS WELL. Endeavour to always smile for smile is a medicine of the soul. He who smiles alot has a better chance of living a long life so smile . Even when the world is all about LIMES just rearrange the words and SMILE for life is better of when we smile. WHO IS YOUR FRIEND?
Take a moment , look at yourself, review your life as a youth, what type of friends do do you follow? do you allow your friends to choose you or do you choose them yourself? do you actually go with those who can make apositive pact on your present life and future as well; or do you follow friends who can only advice you to enjoy the rave of the moment forgetting about your future? As a youth, your friends can either make or mar you; the friends you keep have a very big role to play in your lifestyle and future as well. A wise word says; "show me your friend and i will tell you who you are" have you choosen a notorious criminal as your best friend? Are you always seen with that person who is kniwn for unseriousness and laziness? No matter how innocent, serious or hardworking you might be, once you join the wrong of friends they are definitely going to have a negative impact on you and if care us not taken your future might also be at risk. Think twice, mind the type o
